We will get you in touch with a third party company that provides tents on rent in Pune. Currently they have 2 person Quechua T2 Adult tents that are easy to setup and also light weight to carry. These should keep you safe on all your overnight trek plans.

A few highly recommended products that will make your trekking experience better. Below the products section we have the recommended list of items that you need to carry for one day or overnight treks.

For One Day Treks:

A medium size backpack including the things below…

  1. Trekking Shoes / Shoes with good grip.
  2. Clothing: Trousers, T shirts preferably cotton, waterproof jackets/sweater/ zippers, shorts,caps, hats.
  3. First Aid Kit: Your first aid kit should include these things:
    Band aid, Anti septic solution, Cotton and Bandages, Analgesic Tabs/Sprays, Antipyretic medicines, Glucose/ ORS solution
  4. Pocket Knife/Swiss Knife.
  5. Torch / Flashlight with extra batteries and bulb.
  6. Small Ropes.
  7. Magnesium Flint / Match boxes to light fire.
  8. Food as required and plenty of water.

Equipments for long treks/camping :

A large backpack, including the things below

  1. Trekking Shoes / Shoes with good grip.
  2. Clothing: Trousers, T shirts preferably cotton, waterproof jackets/sweater/ zippers, shorts,
    caps, hats. Always carry an extra pair of clothing.
  3. First Aid Kit: Your first aid kit should include these things:

  4. Pocket Knife/Swiss Knife.
  5. Torch / Flashlight with extra batteries and bulb.

  7. Carry tents if the place does not offer good to spend the night.
  8. Sleeping bags / sleeping mats.
  9. Hygiene / toilet goods, insect repellent.
  10. Ropes, sunglasses, cameras, geographical compass, maps.
  11. Packed Food, Water bottles.
